For Debian, I started out by maintaining 3 packages and the NM process. Switching jobs didn't help in either maintaining the packages nor the NM process. I donated one of my packages to the perl group; the rest two are still with me, I doubt anyone uses them. If you're interested in picking them up, please let me know.
