We are trying to capture the list of Indian FOSS contributors here. This means, i suppose, Indians in India, as contributions of Indians in foreign is huge, and not a subject of the debate here. Also contribution to application software finds a place here. We could also think of adding background information on the developers. Like background: IT/NonIT, Profession: Student/Employee/Entrepreneur, if employee - MNC or local. Big or small. This may help pinpoint the type or person who contributes to FOSS. Also, an important one, is the person contributing code in the course of employment?

Every month we will focus on a contributor and will capture information about the projects they work on; comments from friends, colleagues and other members of the project.
