Goverment Engineering College,Thrissur has a large number of free software users and hacktivists to boast about.The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the college has been conducting annual free and open software promotion programs in the name Insignia and takes part actively in the activities of FSUGTSR.The college also has to offer a buissness incubation center.
